My Story

Hi everyone
I'm Roxy (I prefer to go by my nickname) and live in a very rural town.  I have been married for almost fourteen years and have the most adorable little boy. I'm a stay at home mom, who does photography on the side, along with freelance writing.  I'm also an Independent Product Consultant for DoTerra International.  Last summer I earned my personal training certification through ISSA.  This was something I had been considering for a while and I just decided to take the plunge.  It was one of the best decisions that I made.  I now have the ability to help myself and others through this journey.  Yes I am still on my journey and have a long ways to go, even though I am a certified personal trainer.  
I have struggled with my weight all of my life.  I have tried numerous diets and supplements to lose weight.  I was able to loose some weight, but it all came back Dotthen some.  I'm determined that this time I will NOT fail in my weight loss journey.  I deserve to be happy and healthy, and my family deserves it as well.  I want to be a healthy roll model for my son.  He loves food and I want him to eat healthy, which is something that as a parent I need to teach him.
I started this blog to share my journey with others and to let other know they are not alone on this journey. Also this will help me keep my emotionally eating in check.  It is not fun being an emotional eater and I really wish that I wasn't one as I struggle so bad with it.   I will be sharing my struggles and achievements as I go through this crazy journey.

I am also into holistic health, I feel that we have the ability to help heal ourselves, through oils, prayer, meditation, and crystals.  Yes I know there is a time and place for a doctor and medication.  Those are necessary at times, but I believe that we can help our healing process along with a doctors help at times.
